Tower Shops – just south of 595 on University Dirve adjacent to Costco — boasts both Home Depot, Office Depot, Old Navy, TJMaxx, Linens and Things & DSW shoes.  Across from Tower Shops, you will find another strip mall featuring: PetSmart, KMart, and Bed, Bath and Beyond. There are also many fine eateries located on both sides of University Drive to feed the many hungry college students and professors nearby at the 3 universities (FAU, BCC, Nova Southeastern University Campuses). On State Road 84, Davie is also lucky to bost an EXPO interior design superstore.

For serious shopping, the heavy hitters will take short hops to their choice of several regional shopping centers:  the Pembroke Lakes Mall (Macy’s, Dillards,JC Penney, etc.), Plantation’s Broward Mall (Macy’s, Sears, JC Penney, Dillards, etc.), and the massive Sawgrass Mills in west Sunrise, which is one of America’s largest discount malls and reportedly the #2 tourist destination in Florida after Disney World.
